這首歌真的很好聽，短短的歌詞"...My weapon is my word"清楚地描述了張純如的全心奉獻，而這句輕描了她的死的詞更是讓人心碎"Now I'm silencing my own"。單純的意念能讓人產生驚人的動力，只為了"納粹大屠殺在美國眾所周知，為什麼南京大屠殺沒人知道"，讓留著中國人血液的Iris極力挖掘被人遺忘的真相。期間，她多次遭遇恐嚇，年輕不畏懼的心讓人真的敬佩。可恥的是，日政府到現在一樣不承認這事實，也還是沒有一句道歉。

殘忍殺人法:有直接在人面前把其家人的頭劈成兩半；將女人強暴後私處插入棍棒看有多深直到流血，然後塞入棉花點火燒死此女，孕婦也不放過，李秀英，懷着7個月身孕，與3個日本兵搏鬥身中33刀；為了要過河，日軍把屍體疊成橋，在上面鋪上木板踩過河，那條橋左右都是人頭、人手、人腳；機關槍掃射人群後，載着日本兵的汽車就從屍體上開過去；如果日軍不會刺人，日軍的頭頭會拿活人示範給日軍看，如何刺、用何角度刺會致死；還有強迫亂倫的事件；任何想得到的、想不到的殘忍手法不斷重演。
為何只是普通人的日軍會如殺人魔般的殘忍:這要歸功於日皇的訓練，在他們眼中，日軍不是人，只有日皇才是至高無上的皇君，平日日軍一早第一件事就是被賞耳光，半夜睡到一半，也會被抓起來打，這般下賤、畜牲不如地對待，養成了他們的野性，他們被灌輸中國人是連螞蟻都不如的人種，所以要盡早進行種族消滅，他們把恨都發洩在中國人身上。
這個日皇叫做日皇裕仁。
為了寫出史實，張純如得了憂鬱症，認為自己前世就是出生在南京大屠殺之時，她夢中的小女孩模樣，被追殺而不斷奔跑，她認為她是其中一位南京大屠殺遇害者，受不了這樣的精神虐待
自殺而死。
主唱者把這首歌唱的相當好，她的嗓音有一種飄邈的感覺。
